Little promo thing I threw together for the upcoming El Paso Comic Con. That’s me at Burning Man in 2006, wearing my famous necklace of Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils that were used up drawing Cherry comics. I call it “the teeth of the beasts I have slain”.

Sketchcover of Cherry #23. It’s a whole comic book with a variant cover wrapped around it which is blank, just has the title printed on it. The picture is original art; sumi ink applied by brush, colored with Copic alcohol sketch markers by the hand of the Cherry Creator himself, Larry Welz. Cherry & her friends Ellie Dee, Lola Paluzza & Patty Melt come leaping through a portal in space & time right into your World.
